SmartGrids RD&D needs to achieve the EU''s 20-20-20 targets by 2020. The goal of this new SmartGrids SRA 2035 consists in determining longer term research and innovation activi - ties, necessary for electricity networks and intelligent electric systems by 2035 and contributing to the EU''s envisioned CO2 reduction of minimally 80% by 2050.
