We got both solar thermal (evacuated tubes) and solar electric. Got them with the previous SEAI grant. The new grant scheme is supposed to be better. Our thermal is East-West and the pv is South. The thermal regularly boils over, even on cloudy days and the electric runs the meter backwards every day. We didn''t get a battery, yet.
